JapaneseGP : Rossi - "we'll do everything we can"

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Rider Valentino Rossi is ready for the first flyaway race and is positive.

Valentino Rossi staged a stunner last time out at Aragon as he got back on track  to race only 24 days after breaking his leg, qualifying on the front row and finishing in 5th place just half a second behind his teammate Maverick Vinales.

It was good to have 2 weeks time since the Aragon race to rehabilate completely ahead of three fly away races, and it is important to be 100% physically fit. Recovering has been the biggest focus for the rider, not just because it is a  fly away race, but its Yamaha's home GP. Rossi likes the circuit very much and glad to be in Japan and hopes a positive result.

Rossi was on pole last year, & the last time he won here was in 2008.

The track has also staged some classic battles, like his 2010 showdown to edge then-teammate Jorge Lorenzo off the podium. Yamaha, meanwhile, have won four times – with the race on to take the fifth this season, and bounce back from a difficult Japanese GP for the manufacturer in 2016.
