Fermin Aldeguer Eyes Factory Ducati MotoGP Seat in 2027 After Le Mans Podium

Rookie sensation Fermin Aldeguer is aiming for a factory Ducati seat in 2027 after securing his first MotoGP podium at Le Mans — just his sixth premier class race. The 20-year-old Gresini rider, already the top rookie in the standings (8th overall), has a direct four-year contract with Ducati, structured in two two-year phases.

Aldeguer credits his rapid adaptation to the help of teammate Alex Marquez and consistent progress, including strong showings in Qatar and Austin. He believes a race win is possible this year and has his eyes set on Silverstone, where he claimed his first Moto2 win.

If he does win in 2025, Aldeguer could become the youngest MotoGP winner in history, breaking Marc Marquez’s record.
